Zenor named director at Powers
Jack Zenor has been named director of business development and national training manager at Powers Fasteners, Brewster, NY. A veteran of more than 27 years in the construction fastening industry, he was most recently manager of new business development for ITW Ramset/ Red Head. Among his challenges will be getting Powers' products specified by engineers, while educating distributors and salespeople on product features and uses.
Olsen joins Powers
Jacob Olsen has been appointed director of new product development for Powers Fasteners. A professional engineer, he joins the Brewster, NY-based organization after nearly five years as staff engineer for CEL Consulting, a California materials testing and consulting firm. In this new position, he will be responsible for developing and testing new products for the Powers line.
Leica Geosystems names new vice president
Leica Geosystems has appointed Valerie E. Richardson to the newly created position of vice president, strategic marketing and business development, Leica Geosystems, Inc., Americas region, as part of a strategic initiative to enhance product marketing and planning in the Americas.
Richardson assumes responsibility for providing leadership in all end-to-end strategic marketing areas, including product marketing, software development center, Web tools marketing, marketing communications, customer care and order entry, channel marketing, management of partners programs, sales and marketing training and market intelligence for North and South America. She is based in Leica Geosystems' American headquarters in Norcross, GA.
Prior to joining Leica Geosystems, Richardson was vice president, marketing and business development for a division of Invensys plc, a multinational supplier of electronic and electromechanical systems and components for industrial, commercial and residential markets.
Greenlee promotes Ellis
Chera M. Ellis has been named director of marketing at Greenlee, a Textron company. Ellis will be responsible for planning, direction and coordination of marketing efforts for the company's products, including program and promotion development, advertising, trade shows, packaging and merchandising. Prior to joining Greenlee, Ellis worked at Sta-Rite Industries and Milwaukee Electric Tool.
Stone appoints vp of marketing and sales
Joseph Cunningham has been named vice president of marketing and sales for Stone Construction Equipment, Inc. As such, he will be responsible for marketing and sales management for the domestic sales division. He has more than 17 years' experience in the industry, including brand marketing, product management, advertising and sales management roles.
