Jenny Products introduces a new gas-powered, wheeled-portable compressor with a high-volume pump. The unit meets high volume requirements in a compact design. It features a 30-gal. air tank and a belt driven "J" pump, which is a single-stage, four-cylinder pump with a high compression ratio for producing maximum air flow. It delivers 21.3 CFM at 100 PSI or 20.9 CFM at 125 PSI. An 11-hp Honda GX gasoline engine powers the compressor, and the unit's special unloading valves and large flywheel allow easy recoil starting.

The Torq-Cut self-undercutting anchor from Simpson Strong-Tie is a heavy-duty, high-capacity anchor designed and tested for use in cracked and uncracked concrete under static and seismic loading conditions. The built-in ring with hardened cutters expands with installation torque to form undercut grooves in the concrete. Ideal Industries has introduced a new line of double-fluted step drill bits, Quick Change bits, that feature a 1/4 in. hex shank compatible with virtually every drill on the job site, including 3-jaw chuck, impact drivers, and quick change drill chucks. Each 1/16-in. multi-diameter step is radius-blended for smooth transition from one to the next. Three sizes are available: 1/8 to 1/2-in., 1/4 to 7/8-in. and 1/4 to 1-1/8-in.

The new Miter Snips from Kraft Tool accurately cut angles up to 1 in. wide by 1/2-in. thick. The snips cut plastic, decorative moldings, and tile edges and trim. The new CoBolt Compact Bolt Cutter from KNIPEX has a lever-action design that provides 20 times more hand force than traditional bolt cutters. DeWalt announces the launch of its new 12 Volt MAX* Lithium Ion platform that includes a 1/4-in. Screwdriver, 3/8-in. Drill/Driver, 1/4-in. Impact Driver, 3/8-in. Impact Wrench, LED Work Light, Inspection Camera, Infrared Thermometer and two combo kits. The platform was designed to incorporate comfort and a compact design with the power and features contractors need on the jobsite. The battery, strategically placed at the bottom of the handle, offers a contoured grip, balance and allows contractors to stand the tool on its battery between uses.

Ansell announces the introduction of the HyFlex 11-830 glove with ZonzKnit Advanced Comfort Technology, a knitting process that enhances glove stretch for flexibility, dexterity and better hand ventilation. Other features include an Enhanced Cuff Overedge for ease in taking the gloves on and off, D3 pinky design for a better fit and foam nitrile metallic gray coating for abrasion protection and a sure grip.

The new Duo-Fast FloorMaster 250BN 16-gauge hardwood flooring finish nailer from ITW features a 45° detachable no-mar nailing guide and no-mar pads that offer protection and precise placement of every nail in the 45° pocket of the tongue when blind nailing. A depth-of-drive design helps eliminate tongue splitting while a nail lock-out design eliminates blank firing.

Bosch's new 12-in. dual-bevel miter saw features the innovative Axial-Glide system, which replaces the traditional miter saw sliding rail system. The articulating glide arm system allows for a more compact miter saw -- saving up to 12 in. of workspace. It's also less prone to misalignment and stickiness over time. The new saw provides 14 in. of horizontal cutting capacity, a 6 1/2-in. max vertical cutting capacity against the fence and a 6 1/2-in. cutting capacity when cutting crown molding. Upfront controls eliminate the need to reach behind the saw to make adjustments.

The new Sandit Back Up Pads by Diamond Tec utilize advanced engineered polyurethane for longevity on sanding, grinding and polishing applications on stone, concrete, metal and wood. The pads' dense foam composition is both firm and flexible giving users the ability to follow contours during use. Makita released a new high pressure pneumatics line that consists of the 2.5 hp High Pressure Air Compressor (up to 400 psi capacity), the 2-1/2-in. High Pressure Siding Coil Nailer (140-320 psi capacity), and the 3-1/2-in. High Pressure Framing Coil Nailer (180-320 psi capacity). These products will help contractors meet the demands for larger nails, higher capacity, and greater versatility in a range of materials, including the increasingly dense engineered lumber used in framing construction.

Hyde Tools unveiled three tiers of putty knives and scrapers, with the PRO STAINLESS Tools series at the top of the line for paint pros and others who use paint prep tools extensively. With a soft, durable grip and rust-resistant stainless steel blades, the tools also feature a Metal Hammer Head end for setting nails and finger grips and stops for safety. PRO PROJECT Tools and Value Series round out the tiered line.

Stanley-Bostitch introduced a cordless 28° wire-weld framing nailer kit, model GF28WW, capable of driving full round head wire-weld framing nails and wire-weld clipped head nails without conversion. The gas-powered nailer uses a 7.2-volt Ni-Cd battery to create the combustion needed to drive framing nails between 2 and 3 1/2 in. in length (.113 to .131 in diameter). Its fuel cell is expected to drive 1,200 nails per canister and the tool has a 55-nail magazine capacity. Features include a 180° rafter hook, depth-of-drive adjustment, low nail lockout and rubber skid pads.

The FaxMax Reversible Nail Set is a new tool from Stanley. It incorporates the two most popular nail sets -- 1/32 in. and 2/32 in. -- into one tool and also accepts conventional bit tips to double as a screwdriver. To alternate between nail sets, users remove the insert, flip it around, and re-insert the tip into the sleeve. The sleeve's knurled locking collar secures the nail set into place.

North American Tool Corp. now offers the QC Cost Cutter Pouch Kit, consisting of quick-change, hex-drive combination drill-and-tap tooling. Tools are contained in a soft fabric case with Velcro closure and belt clip. The set allows for one-pass drilling and tapping on construction, maintenance and repair, assembly, and production applications. Sets can be customized for specific applications and a quick-change chuck for 1/4-in. hex drive bits.
