It is hard to believe how quickly nine years have passed since we published the first issue of Construction Distribution magazine.
This August/September issue is the first in our 10th year, leading us toward a milestone anniversary. During the next several months we will revisit the companies represented in our cover stories of the past, review where these organizations are today, and ask how their business has changed during the highs and lows of the past decade.
Getting better
Over the years, you have shared that it is important to learn more about new products that can help you reach more customers and expand into new markets. Construction Distribution is committed to bringing you as much timely information as it can, and specifically serving you with our unique product M.A.P.S. section. Our industry-exclusive format, Market – Application – Product – Solution, in this section will continue to expand and include more new products in the months ahead.
CD Live!
If your travel plans include the STAFDA convention in Nashville, Nov. 4-7, stop by our table display in the registration area so we can introduce you to the new CD Live. We're excited about the many new, timely ways we can bring you information on what's happening in this important marketplace. Of course, you'll find our latest issue of CD, and you can register to receive our monthly e-newsletter and win special gifts from Blockbuster.
If you're not a member of STAFDA - the event is open to members only - it's not too late to join one of our industry's most dynamic trade associations. Please see the STAFDA ad on page 64 for more details and benefits of memberships, or click on the STAFDA logo when you visit www.constructiondist.com, our recently revitalized, revamped and relaunched website.

Shoot an email to editor Butch Horn at butch.horn@cygnuspub.com or to me, Joe Drochak, at joe.drochak@cygnuspub.com.
