DAP Products Inc. was awarded the prestigious "Committee Choice Award" for category management at the 25th Annual Golden Hammer Awards in Las Vegas on May 5.  A select panel of retailers bestowed the honor upon DAP for superiority in the company's total category management approach and service it provides its retail partners. John McLaughlin, president and CEO, accepted the award during the ceremony at the 2009 National Hardware Show.

The honor exemplifies the company's ability to maximize turns, margins and overall assortment productivity.  In addition to The "Committee Choice Award" for category management, DAP accepted a second Golden Hammer Award in the Lumber Building Materials and Durables field for caulks and sealants -- bringing the total to eight Golden Hammer Awards this century based on peer-recognition of the company's excellence in innovation, quality, and business practices that deliver the highest performance standards.
