RED WING, Minn. -- December 21, 2009 -- Capital Safety, home of the DBI-SALA and PROTECTA brands, today announces that it has added three fall protection training courses for the wind energy industry to its roster of training offerings, including Competent Person, Competent Rescuer and Competent Rescuer Trainer.

Capital Safety's new training programs provide superior instruction from top industry professionals and hands-on learning that engage the participants. Each of the courses have both written and practical examinations, and comply with OSHA, ANSI and CSA regulations.
The following courses are available:
•Wind Energy Competent Person Course: Two-day course that meets the requirements of OSHA, ANSI and CSA for Competent Person.
•Wind Energy Competent Person and Competent Rescuer Course: Four-day course that meets the requirements of OSHA, ANSI and CSA for Competent Person, Competent Rescuer and Competent Inspector.
