The 13th Annual National Industrial Show/West scheduled for Nov. 16-18, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, continues to add new companies and gather momentum, according to Susan A. Hurley, CEM, Show Manager.

"We are pleased to have already sold 579 booths to 562 companies from across the USA and around the world to date and continue to receive exhibit space applications and inquiries on a regular basis. Nine new companies have joined the exhibition. We are expecting more than 600 domestic and international companies to participate. The signs are very encouraging that businesses are recovering and a brighter future lies just ahead", says Ms. Hurley.  

The 2009 Show & Conference will include a number of new features including a factory tour of Vegas Fastener Manufacturing, Welcoming Reception in the exhibit hall and a Progressive Poker Tournament sponsored by Vegas Fastener Manufacturing following the party on Monday, November 16. Also, an exciting new Products & Services Video Showcase is being introduced with Sherex Fastening Solutions being the first company to purchase a spot.

The Conference program on Monday, November 16 includes: an all-day seminar on Fastener Quality Assurance: Print Reading and Inspection presented by the Fastener Training Institute and an all-day Application Engineering Workshop presented by Jim Speck, P.E., Johnson Gage Co. There is also an all-day Finance, Credit Managers & Controllers Meeting being presented by the Finance Industry Group Network and the Wisconsin Office of the Business Credit Management Association. The ASTM F16.96 Subcommittee on Bolting Technology will hold its Fall Meeting in conjunction with the Show & Conference on Tuesday, November 17. Registration for all these programs is available to all Show visitors and exhibitors. 

The "World's Largest Fastener Expo" will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17 and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18. The 60,000-plus net sq. ft. exhibition features fasteners for every application, fastener production machinery, inspection and testing equipment, packaging systems, precision formed parts, tooling and dies, wire and a myriad of other related products and services.
