Interest is growing for the 30th Annual National Industrial Fastener Show/East set for May 25-26, 2010 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio, it reported by Show Management.
"We currently have 52 booths sold and are beginning to receive new contracts and inquiries on a regular basis. Three of the exhibiting companies are new to the East Show. There has been a resurgence of interest following our successful Las Vegas expo. It appears that manufacturers are anxious to reconnect with distributors", says Susan A. Hurley, Show Manager. A complete list of exhibitors can be viewed on the Show’s web site at www.fastenershows.com.
"We are really looking forward to having the Show back in Columbus...where it all began 30-years ago", say Jim Bannister and Mike McGuire, General Partners. "The advantages of Columbus are its low per diem cost for hotels and fine dining, convenient access to the vital Midwest marketplace and relaxed work rules at the Greater Columbus Convention Center which allows exhibitors to transport, set-up and dismantle their displays without interference. Columbus is a friendly place which fastener people have always liked", add Jim and Mike.
Show Management is working with Vickie Lester and John Wachman of the Fastener Training Institute to offer a full day of conference programs on May 25. Topics will include Print Reading for Fastener Industry Professionals and Solid Modeling and Computer Aided Design for Fasteners and Assembly Components. "We may also offer an all-day Fastener Fundamentals Workshop if there appears to be enough interest", say Lester and Wachman.
Show Management will sponsor a complimentary Welcome Reception from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 25. This always popular event will be open free-of-charge to all Show exhibitors and registered attendees.
